It was announced sometime last week that LB Khalif Staten is leaving the Iowa football program. From the press release, it appeared Staten was homesick and would be transferring some place closer to his Brooklyn, NY home.
Although he didn't record any statistics this season, Staten definitely passed the looked test and from all accounts, kept his nose clean during his time as a Hawkeye. So best of luck to him in the future.
Note: Oddly, today is Khalif's birthday. Weeeeeird.
